Clue: a Radio Play
Directed by Martina Sanchez
I explored designing live foley and combined it with recorded/ sourced sound to support the radio play experience. I performed the live foley for each performance and worked with actors to coordinate movements.

Foley
I supported my sounds firing from Qlab with live foley. This emphasized the radio show elements of this production.
With assistance from the director and their parent who is a machinist, we created a creak box to create door opening sound effects.
Some other foley effects include:
A suitcase full of rice dropped for a body thud.
Heavy Chain dropped on a woodblock to mimic a falling chandelier.
I turned a doorknob for cocking a revolver and used balloons for the gunshots!
It was an educational and informative adventure. I appreciated the opportunity to explore foley and Iād like to continue learning techniques.
I constructed several rain sticks for the project out of cardboard and rice that were later scrapped n favor of recorded sound
